ISO 9001:2026 and PMBOK® 8: Conference in Cusco
In Cusco, the Institute for Quality presented the changes and updates to ISO 9001 and the PMBOK®, as well as information on programs with flexible formats.
On May 6, the Sonesta Hotel in Cusco hosted the conference “Changes and Updates to ISO 9001:2026 and PMBOK 8th Edition,” led by José Carlos Flores Molina, director of the institute, who reaffirmed the commitment to an active presence in the regions and a more decentralized training program.The conference focused on upcoming changes to ISO 9001, such as the revision of environmental issues, quality culture, and leadership, as well as new features in the PMBOK® 8th Edition, including the synthesis of its framework into six principles and the incorporation of artificial intelligence and the role of PMOs.
In addition, information was provided on the online master’s programs (Project and Quality Management, and Quality and Management Systems) and the Program in Comprehensive Customer Experience and Service Quality Management, which will be offered in a blended format in Cusco.
Through these activities, the Institute for Quality strengthens its ties with various regions of Peru and promotes the dissemination of information on international trends and flexible training models that build capacity and contribute to more competitive organizations.
