We spread and promote a culture of quality across various sectors of society

The Institute for Quality at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru was established in 1993 as a Special Quality Project, pursuant to an agreement between the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and the Peruvian government to conduct audits of private laboratories on behalf of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi). On June 7, 1995, the Rector’s Office of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru formally established the Institute for Quality with the aim of promoting quality in the country and within the university itself. From that point on, the goal has been to develop the concept of quality in all areas of interest to society, both in the community at large and in the public and private sectors.
Over the years, the work of the Institute for Quality has gained a firm foothold thanks to its collaboration with national and international organizations. This has allowed us to closely monitor developments in the field of quality and related areas.
Currently, the Institute for Quality continues to work with the country’s various productive sectors, providing training, consulting, and product certification services, as well as customized projects.

We are a team of qualified professionals affiliated with the Institute for Quality, a business unit of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and we provide educational, applied research, and consulting services to the public and private sectors.
