OBJECTIVES

The Master’s in Project Management and Quality aims to strengthen professional competencies for managing projects of varying nature, complexity, and scope, integrating technical, strategic, and managerial dimensions. It also promotes the development of soft skills, high-performance team leadership, and applied research, with a multidisciplinary approach focused on organizational impact and local and global development.

NETWORK CURRICULUM

The program spans four academic semesters, followed by a final semester dedicated to preparing a thesis or research project

Earning a degree

The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru awards the Master’s degree in Project Management and Quality to students who meet the following requirements:

  • Complete the program's curriculum with a minimum of 48 credits.

  • Present, defend, and pass your thesis.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in English at the upper-intermediate level or in any other language besides your native language.*

  • Comply with the general institutional regulations and any special regulations approved by the Graduate School.

Regarding the thesis requirements:

  • The thesis must consist of an original research project that falls within one of the areas of research and specialization. 
  • The thesis will be completed as part of the Thesis Seminar 2 and Thesis Seminar 3 courses, which will be offered during the second year of the master’s program. In addition, each thesis student or group of thesis students must have an advisor who is familiar with their research topic.

Upon completion of the master's program, students will have acquired the following knowledge and skills:

  • Develops independent and adaptable learning by utilizing digital resources and skills, and critically analyzes information to propose effective solutions.
  • Applies up-to-date knowledge in the design, implementation, and evaluation of projects to enhance management efficiency and quality. Acts with leadership skills and a sense of ethics, ensuring strategic and sustainable management.
  • It examines models, tools, and techniques for designing business strategies that enable the efficient, high-quality, and innovative management of projects, programs, and portfolios. It guides these decisions toward the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Designs research projects by applying concepts, tools, and methodologies specific to project management and quality assurance. In doing so, they drive consistent results and ensure the sustainability of projects.
