The Master’s Degree in Quality Management and Management Systems focuses on advanced specialization and strategic vision for the application of models, systems, and tools to manage, improve, and optimize processes, thereby generating a positive impact on the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives, the transformation of organizational culture, and the promotion of change in society.

NETWORK CURRICULUM

The program spans four academic semesters, followed by a final semester dedicated to preparing a thesis or research project

Earning a degree

The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru confers the academic degree of Master of Quality Management and Management Systems to students students who meet the following requirements: 

  • Complete the program's curriculum with a minimum of 48 credits. 
  • Present, defend, and pass your thesis. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English at the upper-intermediate level or in any other language besides your native language.* 
  • They complied with the general institutional regulations and any special regulations approved by the Graduate School.

Regarding the thesis requirements:

  • The thesis must consist of an original research project that falls within one of the areas of research and specialization. 
  • The thesis will be completed as part of the Thesis Seminar 2 and Thesis Seminar 3 courses, which will be offered during the second year of the master’s program. In addition, each thesis student or group of thesis students must have an advisor who is familiar with their research topic.

Upon completion of the master's program, students will have acquired the following knowledge and skills:

  • Develops independent and adaptable learning by utilizing digital resources and skills, and critically analyzes information to propose effective solutions. 
  • Applies up-to-date knowledge of management models, ISO systems, lean methodologies, agility, and Quality 4.0 to improve organizational operational efficiency. This is achieved by demonstrating leadership skills and a strong sense of ethics to ensure strategic and sustainable quality management. 
  • Analyzes models, systems, and advanced technologies to develop strategies focused on quality, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. Also ensures regulatory compliance to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. 
  • He conducts research projects using methodologies related to strategic quality management and management systems. In this way, he drives progress and develops innovative solutions to challenges in quality and organizational management.
